Minister Ariel Jones

Minister Stanley K. Blackwell, II is currently enrolled at Clayton State University, where he is pursing a degree in Criminal Justice. After completing his undergraduate degree he plans to pursue a Master Degree in Religious Studies at Atlanta Christian College. He is currently serving as the Children’s Minister at The Park; where he knows God is going to bless the ministry to grow in great numbers.  He would like to implement new programs for the benefit of the children currently participating and future participants.  He accepted his call into the ministry in 2009 and had his ordination in 2010.  The two biggest pastoral influences in his life were his grandfather the late Minister Willie J. Digby and the current Shepherd of The Park, Pastor Steven N. Dial, Sr. While serving under Pastor Dial’s leadership he hopes to learn the tools that he will need to do God’s work for his people and he also knows that God has big plans for The Park.

Minister Ariel is currently a graduate student at the Liberty University School of Theology where she is currently pursuing her Master’s in Pastoral Counseling. She is also an alumnus of the University of West Georgia where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. In addition, Ariel is dedicated to working with those who are weary, wounded and broken hearted.
Her desire is for God to allow her to use the spiritual gifts and talents He has given her, to edify His kingdom.
Lastly, Ariel’s acceptance of her call to ministering occurred after experiencing four car accidents within one year. Although, she knew at the age of 7 that she wanted to be a minister, she ran from God until her fourth car accident forced her to be still. The accident left her with two screws and a pin inside her right thumb. She remembers telling the Lord, “if you pick the school you want me to go to, then I will go. I’m tired of seeing your people suffer from broken hearts and I want to help them as you have helped me.”
