The Dial Family

Pastor Steven N. Dial, Sr.

was born in Bessemer Alabama to the late Rev. Clifton and Idella Dial. He is a graduate of Alabama A & M University, a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and holds a M. A. in Ministry. He was ordained in 1999 by the late Dr. George O. McCalep, Jr. of the Greenforest Community Baptist Church in Decatur GA, where he served as the Youth & Young Adult Pastor for nine years.

Pastor Dial is a successful businessman and an accomplished author of several books including "The Lessons of Life to Achieve Your Dreams", "Planting Seeds Daily Devotional", "90 Day Journey Through the New Testament", newly released "Preparing Habits of Success, Volume I", and soon to be released "Prepared Habits of Success, Volume II and Volume III". Pastor Dial is the co-owner of Micah Books, a thriving publishing company in metro Atlanta.

As the first African American Pastor of the multicultural Rainbow Park Baptist Church in Decatur GA, Pastor Dial's leadership style has provided the Atlanta metro area with a community church that seeks to combat literacy, promotes education, and builds healthy family relationships. Tutoring, GED, ESOL and Adult Basic Education classes are offered to the community free of charge. He is the founder of the Rev. Clifton Dial Sr. Scholarship Foundation which provides scholarships for students needing to obtain their GED.

Pastor Dial was instrumental in restoring the 15k sq. ft. community recreation facility, the Empowerment Center, which offers basketball, cheerleading, fitness, karate, volleyball and an annual Back-To-School Extravaganza that provides school supplies for 500 needy children, and a host of other activities and events.

Lady Robin Dial

was born in Bessemer Alabama. The oldest daughter of Earl and Freida Strait. She has been married for 24 years to her high school friend and college sweetheart. She is the very proud mother of two handsome sons, Steven and Micah.

Robin did not realize she was being prepared for her role as Pastor's Wife as a young military officers' wife. The patience and character built during that time have server her well in her current role. In her desire to come out of the classroom after over eighteen years of elementary school teaching, Lady Robin recently received her degree in Counseling and Biblical Studies. She desires to impact children and families who are in need of advocacy and direction in living their best lives. Lady Robin has a desire and passion for making others feel important and worthy; thus her desire to reach and grow a Womens' Ministry that empowers women to believe in themselves and walk in God's plan for their lives. Her ultimate goal is to be available to her husband and shepherd while on this journey called "Ministry". She is excited about all that God has done and is doing in the lives of His People here at Rainbow Park.
